About the talk

Darren Jew will immerse you in his ocean world and introduce you to some of his very large friends.

Darren has been seasonally migrating to the South Pacific archipelago of Tonga for the past 15 years, where he swims with and photographs the majestic humpback whales that have travelled to the tropics to mate and give birth to their calves over winter.

About Darren Jew

Darren has been globe trotting and snapping the planet’s landscapes and wildlife from Antarctica to Zambia. His 30-year career has taken him on mountain peaks, desert plains and beneath the Ocean’s surface. The last two decades have seen Darren pursue his passion for capturing and sharing the natural world and producing sought-after images both above and below the water.
