About the talk

Steve Raymer, a National Geographic photographer and professor, reflects on more than four decades of travels through the Arab and Muslim world and what he has learned on assignments from Western Sahara on the Atlantic coast to the Middle East, Turkey, Afghanistan, India, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim nation.

About Steve Raymer

You could say that Steve Raymer knows a thing or two about taking a good snap, but that would be an understatement. Photojournalist, author, educator and former National Geographic photographer  are all things that Steve could put onto his resume. Steve’s career with National Geographic has  taken him to more than 90 countries and to the present role of emeritus professor of Indiana University Media School – try and find someone with more stamps in their passport book, but we bet you can’t.
